I had a great meeting with a supplier today – James from the Odd Chair Company. I have been searching for dining chairs and had found the perfect ones from them. Unfortunately they were too wide, but being a company that does everything by hand, they have been able to decrease the size, create a mock up and let me try it for comfort. It has been amazing how fast they have acted and I am glad to be able to order 12 chairs from them.
I am waiting for some fabrics from Susan Deliss, which I am very excited about – her products have been another amazing discovery during this project. Being a foreigner, I still have to get to know more English designers, but it is always a nice surprise when a good one stumbles into your inbox or you see new work in a magazine.
Apart from that, I have stumbled across a problem with my lighting order and am waiting to see what will happen. Apparently something I thought would arrive in time will need longer than anticipated. I am crossing my fingers, but if it doesn’t work out, am formulating Plan B.
